[--] Ein zweimaliges Nichterscheinen, zwei Konzertabsagen in Frankfurt-Rödelheim binnen 24 Stunden: Dies ist die betrübliche Bilanz des verblichenen Novembers... Erst hatte bei den positiven Hardcore-Pazifisten von ASIFLASH und MY DEFENSE - auf die wir uns so gefreut, und für die wir uns ganz speziell in Schale geworfen hatten - die Karre gestreikt... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

... und dann auch noch bei den Sludgecorelern von MÖSE und ULTRAPHALLUS (die wir noch viel heißer herbei gefleht hatten!). Wobei den Belgiern nicht nur aufgrund deren Musikstils - mit Doom-Tunes hätte in der »Raumstation« außer uns keiner etwas anfangen können - sondern insbesondere wegen der Gruppennamen von vornherein ein absolutes No-go im antisexistischen Jugendhaus Rödelheims beschieden war. Möse-Chef Klootöör informierte mich zumindest dergestalt, daß der Gig in Frankfurt bereits vor der Autopanne abgesagt wurde - ohne zu wissen, was da falsch gelaufen sei... (Die Tour wurde komplett vom HC/Crust-Label W.I.F.A.G.E.N.A. Records gebucht, welches die Jungs aus ihrer Punk/Crust-Vergangenheit kannten, Anm. d. Verf.) Zur Vollständigkeit hier auch noch die offizielle Bekanntmachung der Gruppe Möse: »We had to cancel our shows in Pisek, Brno, Rostock and Halle cause the brakes of our van broke down. We're extremely pissed by this, but it is how it is. We had an decent van this time, and it was checked before the tour. The garagist probably didn't check the brakes properly, but it was too dangerous to continue. The weather sucked and we kept getting more and more bad news. At first we thought there was only a problem with the electronics of the car. But on monday morning we got the news the back brakes were finished and they couldn't start working on it till they got the pieces, it could take days. I can tell you driving home throught Germany while avoiding to use the brakes is a pretty scary thing, but we got home safely, were we can get depressed further...and further develop an ulcer. We had some pretty bad experiences in the past with our cars: motors exploding, flat tires, flat batteries, police harassing, but we always made the shows we were supposed to play, but this time the risk was too high...I hope everyone understands we have families to return to.
